We offer a full range of refresher training for Motor Cruiser and Yacht Skippers. These two to five day training sessions focus on the skills required to safely handle a Yacht or Motor Cruiser in the marina.
The two day course covers
Bows and Stern to Mooring
Use of Springs to moor alongside
Training for short handed mooring using a center cleat
Springing on and off a quay or wall
Use of the windward line in cross wind berths
Single and short handed mooring exercises
Departing and arriving at a strong cross wind berth
Mastering the correct use of your fenders and mooring lines in close quarter situations
Use of the tide and wind to assist rather than hinder berthing
This two day course is completed on
Our Twin engined Motor Cruisers for Power Beneteau Oceanis 37 or Beneteau Oceanis 343 Yachts for sail
We offer advanced training on our larger 48 foot yachts if required and cover the use of Bow Thrustors.

We deliver both Power and Sail from Queensway Quay Gibraltar
We deliver Power and Sail from our Palamos Charter Base, L'Escala Marina and Port Olimpic Barcelona, Spain.
Who delivers the Training?
The training is delivered by RYA Instructors for Power Boat and RYA Yachtmaster Instructors and Cruising Instructors for Sail.
Do I receive a Certificate on Completion?
No this is a practical course that focuses on drills and skills in the marina.
Can I have this training delivered on my own boat?
Yes we can deliver this training anywhere in the world on your own boat power or sail.
